Independence Day: Resurgence - Part I VFX (2016)

While at Scanline VFX I worked on Independence Day: Resurgence, my main responsibilities involved lighting, rendering, lookdev as lead of the Singapore sequence. As well as a few other shots throughout the movie.

Having the lighting change from night time look to a firey sky so quicky posed some interesting lighting challenges.

As you can see there is a ton of debris and FX. Scene management was key, to keep track of these elements and render them efficiently.
